In the truest tones of this eyeshadow I’d say it appears more gold in natural lighting like at home, but it changes to be more vibrant in front of bright lights, straight under direct lights, and in the sunlight is where you really can see the pinky peach shade! The pictures don’t do it justice and even in trying to take photos I couldn’t capture it right. This is more of a subtle shine compared to the other shade I bought (that shade being liar liar pants on fire) however in photos on my wrist both of the colours perform the same, strength wise. I’m really excited to try this eyeshadow out on stage and have been wearing it everyday since I got it just because it’s so much fun and a nice addition to my collection. I wear bright colourful eyeshadow daily and it’s a nice addition. The formulations are creamy and the sparkles are micro and not chunky or flakey which was something I was worried about. Interestingly as I use this eyeshadow there’s hints of green in it too but the shadow doesn’t read any bit green. The longevity is fantastic. I wear it morning till midnight and it doesn’t budge. Very pleased. Pictures are under direct soft-white lights in my house — the pictures don’t do it justice. As well, I bought these two shadows looking for a Danessa Myricks dupe for fearless in her light works palette. They are the closest I’ve come so far and actually mixing them is almost a perfect match… but tbh I’m honestly thinking I like these better! I’m looking forward to my next batch of eyeshadows I picked out from TOG. Will recommend to all my performing friends 💜 thank you so much.
